West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has escalated the attack on the BJP warning her opponents that they will be Destroyed if they try to change the secular fabric of Bengal.
Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek Banerjee took TMC's attacks a step further. He took a dig at the BJP's over its slogan. He said that the BJP has realised that the 'TRP of ram is down' and that is why it has resorted to chanting 'Jai maa kali'. Remember Mamata Banerjee has in the past faced off twice against BJP supporters who chanted Jai shree ram intercepting her motorcade during Lok Sabha polls.

Home Minister Amit Shah has listed out a strategy for Jammu and Kashmir. Sources have told NewsX that the home minister asked the chiefs of the forces to maintain a zero-tolerance policy and not get cowed down by the criticism. The home minister is believed to be focussing on reducing infiltration and recruitment of terrorists. The BJP-led govt in its previous tenure has made a ceasefire offer which failed and caused them to revert to the muscular policy that has been its approach ever since.
