North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's sister Kim Yo-jong has appeared in public for the first time in over 50 days,... contradicting reports that she was disciplined in the wake of Hanoi's no-deal summit.
On Tuesday, Pyeongyang's state-run Korean Central News Agency reported.... that Kim Jong-un watched a gymnastics and arts performance on Monday... and his sister Kim Yo-jong accompanied him.
South Korean daily, the Chosun Ilbo had reported last week.... that Kim Yo-jong, who served as Kim Jong-un's secretary in his nuclear summits with the U.S.,... had been disciplined after the Hanoi summit.
Kim Yong-chol, whom the agency reported had been sent to do hard labor, also attended the performance,... accompanying Kim Jong-un for the second day in a row.
