Five bodies spotted in search for climbers missing in Indian Himalayas

Five bodies were spotted on a mountain in the Indian Himalayas on Monday,... during an aerial search for eight missing climbers,... feared to have been swept away in an avalanche.
According to Indian officials,... an air force helicopter spotted the bodies as they flew over the area where the group went missing.
Of the climbers,... four were from the UK,... two from the U.S.,... and one each from Australia and India.
They were reported missing by their colleagues last Friday,... after failing to return to base camp.
The climbers were attempting to scale an unnamed and previously unclimbed peak,... over 64-hundred meters high,... near Nanda Devi,... when they were hit by an avalanche.
Search teams are still attempting to locate the other three missing climbers.
