Larry caught up with Californian rock group The New Pacific backstage at Lollapalooza, this being the first time the four-piece has performed at the illustrious festival, after being dedicated attendants year after year.

Performing in front of a fairly large crowd (on a shadier stage away from the sun) has given the band the prime opportunity to play their material, with band mate Alex saying, "We're a relatively new band, so having anyone show up and jam out is great; I think by the end of the set, it grew and grew".

The band is currently in the late stages of mixing their new record, with a sound that is heavier complete with catchy rifts and lyrics, "We've been working really really hard on it, it's been a long process,". With effort and commitment from all the members, all agree that this upcoming record is a 'better representation of what our band does'. After they wrap up their successful run at Lollapalooza, it's straight back to LA and on the road again to Chicago.
