Hey Geronimo (Brisbane) interviewed at Music Matters Singapore

Brisbane-based band Hey Geronimo joined the AU review at Singapore's Music Matters, showcasing their music to thousands of people in the country. Having done shows in Australia, it was a new and enjoyable experience for the band, "It's really cool, it's fantastic. We've never been here before. The people are great, the weather's great, the bands are great - we're having a really fun time."
Playing an intimate show down in a local Irish Pub, they claim that intimate gigs are their forte as it heightens their experience to absorb the crowd's energy. "We like those sort of venues - it was really intimate and it was kinda cool. We had a fun time.We had a good crowd. Everyone was really energetic - that always helps a lot."
The band also recently wrapped up the recording of their debut LP and are very excited for its release. "We finally finished our debut LP after four years. We just thought it was best to get it right and we're happy with it which is the main thing. We just didn't want to put out something that was half-assed so we've taken up some extra time, wrote some extra songs and we've recently put a full-stop on it so it's gonna be coming out later in the year."
