The 21 opposition parties led by Ex-Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu that had been on a rampage alleging that the EVMs had been rigged and had been pushing for 100% VVPAT tallying during poll counting, now face a drubbing after the EVM, VVPAT passed the Lok Sabha test. Physical verification of VVPAT slips with the EVM count was done in over 20,000 polling stations yesterday before declaration of results as per Supreme Court orders.
