'State sponsored' red tagging of party list groups in 2019 polls slammed

Activists and election watchdog Kontra-Daya denounced Friday the alleged “state-sponsored” red-tagging and electioneering of law enforcers against party-list groups in the 2019 midterm polls. Gabriela Party-list, which belongs to the so-called Makabayan coalition, said such active campaigning of the government against groups like them has affected their standing in the recently held elections.
