Heatwaves to intensify, hottest day of season so far

Good afternoon, the heat wave continues to intensify with the season's first heat wave advisories issued in Seoul. Regions in Gyeongsangbuk-do Province will see highs above 35 degrees.
The scorching heat will get you sunburnt in a matter of minutes. UV rays will be very high.. ozone levels will also be very high in most areas during the day. What's worse western regions will have high levels of fine dust.
It will get seriously uncomfortable by the afternoon, senior citizens and young children will need to take special care with the highs easily surpassing 30 degrees.
It's not going to be as hot as today but unseasonably warm temperatures will stick with us through the weekend. The mini heatwave is set to end with some welcome showers rolling in next Monday.
