Acting U.S. Defense Secretary Pat Shanahan to visit Asia, including S. Korea, next week

Acting U.S. Secretary of Defense Patrick Shanahan will begin a tour of Asia starting next Tuesday,... a trip that will also bring him to Seoul.
The Pentagon says Shanahan will attend the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore, slated for May 31st to June 2nd,... where he will meet with key leaders from the region and announce the U.S. Department of Defense's new strategy for the Indo-Asia Pacific region.
He will also meet with key leaders to reaffirm defense relationships,... and hold bilateral and multilateral meetings with other senior officials.
Details of Shanahan's trip to Seoul have yet to be disclosed.
