U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin says... President Trump remains resolute in continuing to put pressure on North Korea through sanctions.
Speaking at the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services on Tuesday local time,... Mnuchin said.... Trump is determined to continue enforcing both the UN sanctions and the U.S. sanctions against North Korea.
He added,... the sanctions have had a very important effect in bringing North Korean leader Kim Jong un to the negotiating table.
Mnuchin's comments were in response to a question on the future direction of the Treasury Department... after the U.S. seizure of the North Korean cargo ship Wise Honest.
