Commencement ceremonies are an exciting and emotional time in someone’s life. You walk across the stage, receive your diploma and celebrate with family. But when Laura was called up to the stage unexpectedly, it wasn’t your normal ceremony. Laura’s dad surprised her on stage after spending eight months in Afghanistan.

 

Over in Colorado, students are huddling up during a football practice when one student is surprised by the homecoming of his father. After returning from Afghanistan, father and son spent a tender moment on the field.
