The Eiffel Tower was evacuated and the surrounding areas locked down on Monday,... after a man was found scaling the upper heights of the monument.
Authorities in Paris say specialist firefighters were on the scene to bring the man down.
The man is said to have enter the tower normally,... and began to climb once he was on the second floor.
The Eiffel Tower, one of the world's most recognizable landmarks,... will be closed until further notice.
