Fans Are Upset The actor is close to an agreement to portray the superhero in Warner Bros upcoming film,
'The Batman,' according to 'Variety.' Petitions have already been started against Pattinson before he's even been officially cast. One petition states, "Don't make the Batfleck mistake again." Many people were also upset when Ben Affleck took over the role of the Dark Knight. Affleck starred in 2016's 'Batman v Superman:
Dawn of Justice' and 2017's 'Justice League.' Pattinson is most famous for his role as a
vampire in the 'Twilight' saga movie series. 'The Batman' will be produced by Matt Reeves and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
