Chinese army propaganda video mocked on Twitter

BEIJING — Chinese state-run media People's Daily just released a video showing off how "strong and mighty" their soldiers are.

In the video, exhausted PLA soldiers are seen frantically jumping and trying to swim in muddy puddles.

The People's Daily tweeted out the video with a caption saying "This is the incredibly strong soldier morale of China's PLA. They fear nothing."

The immediate release of the video quickly attracted the attention and mockery of commentators on Twitter.

One snappy commentator said, "Wow so brave, he jumped in a puddle." Another said ,''Congrats China! Your 'soldiers' can handle water."

Former U.S. Army men also reacted to the video by sharing images of the so-called "strong morale" of the U.S. Marine Corps.

But apparently all this ridicule isn't getting to the PLA soldiers because they "fear nothing."
