To make a quality mortar you will need powdered cement, water and a container such as a mortar trough or wheelbarrow. The success of the mortar depends greatly on its dosage. The latter will evolve according to the type of cement desired. Once the dosage has been chosen, place the powdered cement in your container. Note that the dosages can be written on the package. If your dosage requires it, add sand to the mixture. Then pour the water and mix with a trowel.
