Thai bay made famous in ‘The Beach’ film to stay off-limits until 2021

Thai authorities will ban tourists from visiting the bay used to film The Beach starring Leonardo DiCaprio until 2021 to allow for restoration work. Maya Bay had been shut down in June 2018 to allow it to recover from environmental damage blamed on tourism.
