The weather is already feeling like summer,... as it's sweltering hot during the day,... and like in our earlier report, Gwangju was issued with the first heat wave of the year.
And we are expecting the hot spell to last over the weekend.

The month of May is supposed to have some of the most favorable weather in Korea,... when the daytime is cool and comfortable,... but instead it's very dry and some southern regions are already experiencing heat waves.
And due to the unstable weather, the southern parts of the country are expecting passing rain along with loud thunder.
Thursday will be clear and sunny across the nation,... apart from some clouds over Beijing and Tokyo.
The morning temperature remains on the cooler side.
Seoul and most regions will range from 16 to 18 degrees Celsius.
More regions can expect the highs to reach into the low thirties.
Seoul will hit 29 degrees Celsius, Busan and Jeju are slightly cooler at 25 and 26 degrees respectively.
This unseasonably scorching hot weather is expected to linger through the weekend,... and will cool off when we get some rain on Monday.
