would take control of the upcoming film. Disney CEO Bob Iger has
confirmed the new film will be from
David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. The company originally announced
last year that it would work with the
pair on a new series of 'Star Wars' movies. Disney CEO Bob Iger Benioff and Weiss' 'Star Wars' film
will premiere in December 2022. Two more movies in a new trilogy will
then come afterwards in 2024 and 2026. Just like the current trilogy, which
ends this year, all of the new films
will premiere in December.
