Net asset value of S. Korean funds mark around US$ 510 bil. in April

The net asset value of Korean funds rose in April...mainly due to an increase in bond funds.
According to the Korea Financial Investment Association on Monday, the total net asset value of local funds grew by more than 3-percent on month to around 510 billion U.S. dollars in April.
The association cited capital chasing safer debt and short-term investment as the reason behind the increase.
However, the net asset value of funds investing in local stocks decreased... after negative GDP growth and poor corporate performances.
