Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad took cognisance of Pakatan Harapan's struggle to meet expectations in his televised speech yesterday in conjunction with the coalition's first anniversary in power
In his speech Dr Mahathir noted how former premier Najib Abdul Razak and his associates continued to feign innocence while ignoring the billions that the US and Singapore returned to Malaysia, which were recovered from stolen 1MDB funds.
He said those who still support Najib should question where the money being returned by the US and Singapore governments came from.
