A crane operator who swung his equipment into action to save 14 people trapped by fire in northeastern China is being praised on social media. Lan Junze was working nearby when he noticed the fire and decided to move his crane into position near the burning seven-storey residential building in Fushun, Liaoning province. The fire, which started on the ground floor, quickly spread to upper floors trapping residents.   The 19-year-old managed to rescue all 14 people in less than half an hour.
