Donald Trump called in to “Fox & Friends” Tuesday morning to reflect on the previous night’s presidential debate with Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and congratulate himself for not bringing up Bill Clinton’s affair with Monica Lewinsky.
“She hit me at the end with the women,” Trump said, referring to Clinton characterizing him as a misogynist for insulting Rosie O’Donnell and others. “I was going to hit her with her husband’s women, and I decided I shouldn’t do it.” Trump added, “I didn’t feel comfortable doing it with [the Clintons’ daughter] Chelsea in the room. I think Chelsea’s a fine young lady.”
Trump showed less restraint in addressing former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who claims the real estate mogul berated her for her physical appearance. Machado is featured in an ad for the Clinton campaign, in which she said Trump called her “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping”:
“She was the worst we ever had. The worst. The absolute worst. She was impossible,” Trump said of the Venezuelan-born actress who in May became a U.S. citizen and says she plans to vote for Clinton in November. “She was the winner and, you know, she gained a massive amount of weight and it was a real problem.”
