Bernie Or Bust?

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders on Tuesday continued to withhold his endorsement for his primary challenger and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, insisting he is still pushing Mrs. Clinton’s camp to incorporate some of his campaign’s progressive ideals into the party’s platform at next month’s convention.

Last week Mr. Sanders said he will vote for Mrs. Clinton in November, but he said Tuesday he made clear that he isn’t yet endorsing her. Voting for the former secretary of state and endorsing her are “not one in the same,” he said Tuesday.

Speaking on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” Mr. Sanders said he isn’t yet satisfied with his party’s platform heading into a general election showdown with Republican Donald Trump, and feels it doesn’t sufficiently address issues related to the middle class, income inequality, climate change and the cost of college.
