King Maha Vajiralongkorn crowned in Thailand’s first coronation in seven decades

Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn was officially crowned on May 4, 2019, more than two years after he ascended to the throne. The 66-year-old monarch delayed the formal coronation to mourn the death of his father, King Bhumibol Adulyadej.
