Teen idol and popular singer-songwriter, Johnny Tillotson, achieved great success in the '60s, with nine top ten hits including 'Poetry in Motion' and 'It Keeps Right On a-Hurtin.' Tillotson was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2011.
The star's first single was 'Dreamy Eyes' which reached number sixty three on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1958. It was reissued in 1962, reaching number thirty five in the same chart.
