Korean Air says it is raising domestic air fares due to what it says are worsening business conditions.
South Korea's largest carrier says it will increase fares by an average of seven percent starting in June.
The firm emphasised the price hike will not apply to international routes, which would need the government's approval.
The decision comes amid more competition from low-cost carriers and the development of Korea's high-speed rail system.
