The Fortunes are an English harmony beat group, formed in 1963 in Birmingham. They were a relatively typical British Invasion quintet and their inspiration came from the sound of Merseybeat which was uplifting and harmony-driven. They are best known in the U.S. for their classic radio tune "You've Got Your Troubles" which peaked at number 7 in the Billboard charts in August 1965. It reached number 2 in the UK singles chart a mouth earlier.
