Sebastian Janikowski to Retire The 41-year-old steps away
from the league after 19 seasons. Janikowski was selected in the first round
back in 2000 by the Raiders. The 260-pound field goal kicker went on
to play in Oakland up until 2017. At 1,799 points recorded, he leaves the NFL as Oakland's all-time leading scorer. The Pro Bowler spent 2018, his final year in the league, with the
Seattle Seahawks. In his career, Janikowski has set multiple NFL records. They include the most field goals made of 50 yards or longer with 58 successful attempts. He also holds the longest field goal ever made in an overtime game with a 57-yard boot.
