Cow mimics Hindu devotees by ringing sacred bell at Indian temple
- 5 years ago
A cow living near Bhadravati in South India has been spotted ringing a sacred bell in front of a temple in Bhadravati several times.
Hindus ring sacred bells tied near temples to inform the deity of their arrival.
So, perhaps having observed their behaviour for long, a cow that lives near the Mugda Someshwara temple in D B Halli has also been doing the same.
Occasionally, it approaches the bell and cranes its neck and rings it.
Temple officials shared a CCTV footage of the cow worshipping the deity on April 25.
