Multinational maritime drills held in Busan, Singapore starting Monday

Multinational marit ime drills are being held in waters near Korea's southern port city of Busan this week... by participating nations of the ASEAN Defense Ministers' Meeting-Plus.
The Korean navy says... 16 warships and six aircraft from a dozen countries... are taking part in the two-part exercise.
Korea is sending the guided missile destroyer Wang Geon , guided missile frigate Jeonbuk , amphibious landing ship Cheonjabong ,... and three helicopters for part one of the exercise,... which starts Monday.
The second part of the the drills kick off in waters near Singapore on May 9th to which South Korea will send the destroyer Wang Geon.
