Sam Pitroda finally broke congress's silence on why Priyanka Gandhi decided to not contest from Varanasi against prime minister Narendra Modi. Pitroda clarified that the decision was taken by Priyanka herself and party president Rahul Gandhi or anyone else had nothing to do with it. As per Pitroda, Priyanka believes that she has been given an important responsibility by the party and she want to focus on that for the time being. Now it remains to be seen of Priyanka Gandhi will enter into electoral politics with these Lok Sabha polls 2019.
