Holy man in India ends his journey in a sitting position

He was last seen while meditating, in a sitting position. "Aakhri darshan kar lo, bhai!". End of the road for a Hindu saint, as opposed to the normal mode. They surround him with salt to aid in rapid decomposition.

A shivling in a temple. People dig a pit in preparation for the end rituals of the sadhu. A mixture of ash is prepared to anoint the man of god, and off he goes... His eyes are swollen up. His followers take his clothes off and bathe him. Even kids join in to the ceremony. Then they protect his modesty with a loin cloth and rub ash onto him.

Not for people with a weak heart, this is real footage never seen before. The footage is of the end journey of a Hindu sadhu in Madhya Pradesh, India. His followers or family members rub him with some paste and then cover him with a cloth. This sadhu is being put to rest in a sitting position unlike common Hindus. This is old footage and one can assume that the site must have become a place of worship by now.
