Kanye West is a rapper and a music producer born in Atlanta in 1977. He began his career as a music producer for rap music and worked for artists such as Jay-Z. He has also collaborated with other great singers like Alicia Keys and Janet Jackson. He finally released his debut solo album in 2004 'The College Dropout' and it was hugely successful as sales soared. The album went on to become 'Record of the Year' and in turn allowed him to create his own label company: G.O.O.D Music. He signed young artists who would then go on to become Kid Cudi and John Legend. His third album 'Graduation' released in 2007 which featured songs such as 'Stronger' and 'Good Life' and garnered him 4 more Grammy awards. He also collaborated with Michael Jackson in his 6th album Thriller 25 back in 2008. In 2011, Kanye released a joint album with Jay-Z "Watch the Throne" which went on to become the most downloaded album on iTunes. In 2018, he released 'Ye Vs. The People' and dropped 'Kids See Ghosts' with Kid Cudi.
