BS Yeddyurappa: Lok Sabha Elections 2019 result will impact fate of JDS-Congress alliance in Karnataka
  • 5 years ago
As Karnataka Lok Sabha Polls came to an end - BS Yeddyurappa who's had his eyes on the throne of Karnataka has out the Cong-Jds alliance on a warning. The former Chief Minister of Karnataka Yeddyurappa today claimed that the results of the Lok Sabha elections will have a big impact on the coalition. Yeddyurappa infact claimed that there were as many as 20 many MLAs who are reportedly upset with the coalition and that they were in touch with the BJP, though Yeddyurappa refused to name the MLAs. Striking a more cautious note was BJP state head sabha Karandlaje who while said that they don't want to destabilise the govt but were aware of many sitting MLAs being disgruntled with the ruling coalition.

Meanwhile the Congress-JDS denied these claims by the BJP - claiming that all's well with the alliance and that their govt was under no duress. Though or remains to be seen that if the bonhomine between the coalition partners who have been at loggerheads on many occasions in the past will last after the lok sabha as well or not.
