Free Music Streaming Is Coming From Google and Amazon For Amazon Music Unlimited, a free version
of the service will first launch in America. It can be used on the Echo smart speakers,
which means songs can be voice activated. Google's free service
will be through YouTube Music. Instead of just the U.S., it will premiere in over a dozen countries. The moves by Amazon and Google now put pressure on Spotify. Before, it was the only
major streamer that
gave away music for no charge. Compared to Spotify's library of 35 million songs, Amazon has a larger one of 40 million. Analysts also say Spotify's
audience most likely won't shrink. MusicWatch, via 'Variety'
