Life & Info: Asiana Airlines sale won't affect customers' air miles: Asiana website

Korea's second-largest carrier Asiana Airlines might be up for sale, but the changes shouldn't affect customers' air miles.
The airline explained on its website that its flights and services like ticket sales and cargo transportation are operating as normal, …and that its reward program for air miles remains the same.
In the selling process, customers' air miles will be treated as liabilities to be assumed by the new buyer.
According to its 2018 financial statements, Asiana Airlines had listed air miles valued at over five-hundred-and-five million dollars as long-term advances.
