A huge outdoor market offering a wide selection of colorful flowers & garlands for sale. which is the largest flower market in india. Acutal address are P222/1, Strand Bank Rd, Fairley Place, BBD Bagh, Kolkata, West Bengal 700001. It is a 130 year old flower market situated just beneath the Howrah bridge. It is also located right next to the famous Jagannath Ghat. It was early in the morning with very few people on the usually busy road leading to Howrah station. But the largest flower market of Kolkata was already bustling with activity.Tucked away next to the Hooghly river, it attracts more than 2,000 sellers each day and contains more than a century of history.
