Ubisoft Pledges €500,000 to
Restoration of Notre Dame Cathedral Ubisoft has announced their support and
solidarity for Notre Dame after a
devastating fire tore through it on April 15. The gaming company has pledged a
donation of €500,000 to aid in the
reconstruction of the historic cathedral. They also announced that their game,
Assassin’s Creed: Unity, will be available
at no charge until April 25. Ubisoft, via statement 'Assassin’s Creed: Unity' is set in Paris during the
French Revolution and features a detailed
recreation of the iconic Notre Dame cathedral. Their digital version of the
building was painstakingly created
by level artist Caroline Miousse. Miousse spent two years on the project,
working with historians and texture artists
