Meghwal was shown black flags and black balloons by the supporters of BJP rebel and former minister Devi Singh Bhati, who accused the Union Minister of being a Congress agent. Bhati resigned from BJP after Meghwal was renominated from Bikaner, but his resignation has not accepted by the party till now.
