LeBron James' I Promise School
in Ohio Is Thriving The learning establishment for struggling students opened last August. According to the Akron Public Schools Office of School Improvement, nearly all students have caught up to or topped expected levels
for reading. They've achieved the
same milestone in math. For math, third graders at I Promise are
now in the field's 18th percentile. By comparison, fourth graders
are now in math's 30th percentile. Previously, they were
in the second. I Promise School, via statement The results come from

at the school late last year. I Promise currently hosts third and fourth graders,
but will add a fifth grade level in 2020. Come 2022, it plans to have every grade up until eighth.
