The Writer's Block and Lucy are open

The Writer's Block bookstore reopened on Saturday. The new shop is six times the size of the old one. It still looks like an artificial bird sanctuary. It houses over 18,000 books. The cafe sells coffee and light bites and features a mural made by co-owner Scott Seeley. The Writer's Block anchors The Lucy, a new creative hub in downtown Las Vegas. You can visit The Writer's Block at the corner of 6th St. and Bonneville.
