Study Says Seattle Is the Most Dog-Friendly City in the US The study comes from pet care company Rover and real estate service Redfin. For results, Rover and Redfin analyzed pooch-friendly amenities in U.S. areas. As were how often "dog" was found in advertisements for real estate. In total, over 14,000 cities were looked at with Seattle emerging as the number one spot. It was followed by Chicago and then Denver in second and third place. According to Rover, a big part of Seattle's win is the amount of space it has for off-leash spots. In recent years, the number of doggy day cares in the city has also risen. Rover adds that over 100,000 people in Seattle use its service.
