Meghan Markle Wants a Home Birth

Meghan Markle Wants
a Home Birth Friends of the Duchess of Sussex have revealed that she is considering a home birth at Windsor later this month. It seems Meghan, 37, wants to follow in the Queen's footsteps. Queen Elizabeth II gave birth to her four children at either Buckingham Palace or Clarence House. Although the duchess would prefer a home birth, she has not ruled out the possibility of a hospital delivery. Women who get pregnant after age 35 have an increased risk of premature birth and C-sections. Meghan decided against renting the private Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital, where Kate Middleton delivered all three of her children. She reportedly said the hospital wing felt "like
a fishbowl." The duchess was also "not keen" on standing on the steps of the maternity unit surrounded by paparazzi.
