The upswing in South Korea's job market continued in March as the number of newly-employed people increased by 250-thousand compared to the previous year... surpassing the 200-thousand mark for the second straight month.
Data from Statistics Korea on Wednesday... shows South Korea's employment rate reached 60 percent, a record for the month of March,... with the number of employed reaching almost 27-million.
The health and social services sectors accounted for most of the job gains,... but the number of manufacturing and finance jobs decreased.
The unemployment rate in March edged down zero-point-two percent on-year to four-point-three percent.
