It forecasts the world economy will grow three-point-three percent this year,... down from the three-point-five percent it had forecast for 2019 in January.

Describing the present as a delicate moment,... the IMF's chief economist explained that the global economy will recover during the latter half of the year and reach three-point-six percent growth in 2020.
The IMF pointed to trade tensions, Brexit and other political uncertainties as some of the risks facing the world economy.
The IMF has maintained its 2019 growth forecast for South Korea unchanged at two-point-six percent.
Its World Economic Outlook released on Tuesday also forecasts the country's economy to improve in 2020,... with 2-point-eight percent growth.
The South Korean government's stimulus package, including its supplementary budget is seen as the major reason behind the fund maintaining the country's economic outlook amid a lowered global economic forecast.
