The tweet came shortly after reports concerning departures of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Secret Service Director Randolph "Tex" Alles.
Some other high-level officials are also expected to leave their positions in the days ahead.
"At least some of the sudden personnel changes come at the urging of White House senior adviser Stephen Miller, who played a key role in Nielsen's ouster," notes CNN.
And Business Insider declared: "US border and immigration policy is now said to be under the control of one of the most hardline anti-immigration members of the Trump administration."
