Hillary Clinton on Monday commented that changes in leadership at the Department of Homeland Security won’t usher in changes in the treatment of migrants.

Hillary Clinton on Monday commented that changes in leadership at the Department of Homeland Security would not usher in changes in the treatment of migrants.  "Let's be clear: This administration's dehumanization and cruelty toward migrants will not stop after Kirstjen Nielsen leaves office. It is their principal policy," Clinton tweeted. Nielsen's departure comes amid President Trump's growing frustrations over the continuing flow of migrants entering the US.  Trump was first to report the change in DHS leadership, writing in a Sunday tweet: "Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen will be leaving her position, and I would like to thank her for her service."  NBC News reports that Nielsen tendered her letter of resignation not long after.  Wednesday will be her final day.
