Whole Foods to Slash Prices of Hundreds of Items On April 3, price cuts will begin at the
Amazon-owned grocery chain. The number of items affected
will be in the hundreds. Most of them will center around
fruits and vegetables. Since this week's price cuts
will be available to those
without Prime accounts, shoppers with the special membership will be
able to save up to 20% on select items. Prime members can now also
get their groceries delivered
in two hours. In a statement, Whole Foods said this week that the number of current deals it offers for
Prime will double. Over 300 deals are expected to
be revealed in the coming months. Besides current users, Amazon is also using Whole Foods to
entice new ones. When making purchases of $20 or more, a
free 30-day Prime trial will get you $10 off. As of 2018, over 100 million people are using
Prime and the benefits that come with it.
