Good afternoon, despite colder and somewhat winter-like temperatures these days, clean air is definitely appreciated across the country especially after the record breaking dust levels we had March. Today we should enjoy good air but concern is on the rise as warm westerly winds will trigger the return of toxic dust by the end of the week. Dress accordingly on your way out strong gusts will only make it feel chillier than the actual temperature.
A dry weather advisory has been expanded to more of eastern areas, be careful with anything that could start a fire Wildfires have broken out across the peninsula .
Back to temperatures, it won't feel much like April, even in the afternoon, but plenty of sunshine will shine down on us. Daily highs will be 1 to 3 degrees higher than yesterday in most areas...ranging between 12 and 15 degrees Celsius.
