There is a fresh controversy brewing in Karnataka ahead of the polls. Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil who is contesting from Mandya seat failed to file the document detailing the assets of his family members. After this was pointed out, Nikhil went ahead and filed the requisite details. But the independent candidate from Mandya, Sumalatha Ambareesh claims that the filing of the paper was done after the due date for the same was over.
